“Hello friends, As January 2022 draws to a close I wanted to reach out to you about the 55th reunion. You may still be thinking about your attendance, and I can appreciate the ambivalence you feel about committing to attend. I feel that uncertainty also. I can assure you the committee wants a safe reunion, one which is enjoyable and keeps us healthy. The committee is watching the reports and looking for information regarding Covid 19 and variants from several sources, including the Marriott hotel, local, County and State health officials, as well as CDC guidelines. Knowing all that I hope you are still attending the reunion in June. A block of rooms at a discounted rate is available at the Marriott. Payment for the weekend is due soon, so watch for more information from Pat in your email. Let me know your intentions and if you have other questions. It is with sadness I inform the class that Howard Herschenfeld died a few weeks ago after an extended illness. Howard was involved with the earliest attempts to plan a reunion 10 years ago, and had ben planning to attend the 55th reunion this coming June.
We thank Howie or his efforts, we will miss his presence, and will raise a toast in his memory.
