| About Me | I went into Nursing as I had always wanted. I worked primarly in long term care at Hillsborough County Nursing Home for 27 1/2 years, mostly in Nursing Management positions. I then worked in Primary care as a triage nurse for 5 years, retiring in 2006 after 44 yrs in Nursing. I took a two year break from full time work when my children were young but worked part time for all but one year. Over the years I managed to do a little traveling, some for work but mostly for pleasure. Unfortunately the first three years of retirement were filled with taking care of my husband during his final illness. Now I help with grandsons when needed, go to oldest Hockey games, dog sit daily while my daughter who is a Veterinarian works. I am hoping to start some volunteer work this year.
