About Me	Attended Chadron State College for two years to obtain teaching certificate. Taught school for 2 1/2 years. Married Donald Boettcher in 1964. We lived in Texas for 3 years while he served in the Air Force and I worked in Civil Service. In February,1969, our first son, Brent, was born. Don was discharged in May, and we returned to Spencer to farm. Our daughter, Angie, was born in March, 1971. Twin daughters, Marci and Marni, were born in September, 1973, but were premature and did not survive. In October, 1975, our son, Joshua, was born, and our son, Jeremy, was born in July, 1977. We moved to Milwaukee, WI, in September where Don attended Lay Ministry School, graduating in the spring of 1978. He was called to serve as Pastor to two congregations west of Spencer on a part-time basis and did so for 28 years. Our son, Brandon, was born in March, 1980. We still lived on our farm during these years, and I worked at a local store from 1987 until 2005. Our son, Brandon, died in a car accident in 2003. In 2004, we purchased a house in Spencer and moved to town. After a long struggle with dementia, my husband, Don, passed away in September, 2008. I still live in Spencer ...(read more)
