About Me	I served in the Navy as an Avionics Technician from 1985 to 1989. I then attended the University of Alabama, where I met my wife Michelle, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Political Science in 1993. I then enlisted in the Army and served as an Infantryman for seven years, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant . I was married in 1995. New Year's Day 2000 witnessed the birth of my twins Kailey Brooke and Bryan Colby and I also was commissioned that year through Officer Candidate School and I am now a Major. The Army has let me do interesting things (such as jump out of a perfectly good airplane as a paratrooper) and visit all sorts of interesting places like Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
