Born in Morris, Illinois. Lived my first six years in Morris. Moved to Carbon Hill, Illinois when I was about six and grew up there. Joined the U.S. Navy when I was not quite 20 years old and remained for 20 years until I retired in 2000. Worked at Hardee Correctional Institution from 2000 to 2003. Presently work in a county jail.
