Thursday May 21st Dillard Alumni Association Scholarship and Awards Ceremony will take place at GHS Auditorium at 7pm. GHS Class of 84 would like to present a $500 scholarship each year. We are asking all classmates that can and will make a $20 contribution. Friday May 22nd Reunion Packages and Information can be picked up at JW Hood Lodge #8 1100 N. James St/Pearson St beginning at 6pm. At 10pm, we will have a Fund Raiser Reunion Dance at Brews and Cues on Hwy 117 S. Goldsboro NC. Then on Saturday May 23rd, Classmates of GHS Class of 1984 will be participating in the Dillard Alumni parade (line-up starting around 8:30am.). If you are participating in the parade please wear your class t-shirt. After the parade there will be a basketball game at GHS gym. Other events will be announced upon your arrival. Then prepare yourself for an “Evening Down Memory Lane”. Our banquet will be held at “Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Officers Club” from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m with the Theme of the “12th Grade Prom” (please have your driver license to get on base). The attire is Formal to Semi-Formal. Please be on time because there will be dinner served and pictures taken. On Sunday May 24th we could not possibly have all this fun and forget to give God all His Glory for the many blessings he has bestowed upon us. Worship Services location will be at Alpha and Omega Christian Center, 1210 Clingman St., Goldsboro, NC. 27534 (919) 580-0171. The home church of our classmate Lester Faison. Services begin at 11:00 a.m. A Reunion would not be complete without the “Cookout in the Park”. This event will be held at HV Brown Park at 3:00 p.m. Following the cookout, Rodney (Peanut) Woodard has invited GHS Class of 1984 to his house at 823 DollarTown Rd Goldsboro NC All of this fun and excitement will cost $60.00 for each class member and $40.00 for spouse.
