About Me	I have been teaching at Maple Valley Public Schools since I graduated from college. I have taught Kindergarten and Young Five's as well as 2nd grade for a few years. I took a leave of absence from my job when I had boy/girl twins in Feb. of 2005. My husband and I decided that I would stay home with our kids so I took a year off and was then asked to participate in a foreign language pilot program for the State of Michigan. I went back to teach Elementarty Spanish for 2 half days a week for 3rd graders. The program was successful and supported by the board so I added a grade the following (last) year. My program was awarded an award from the state for one of the top 13 most innovative programs in our schools. This year, I have added another grade so I currently teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders for two VERY full days a week and I stay at home doing "pre-school" in our playroom on the days I am not working. I had another son last October. Teegan is our little "Rock Star." He is so good and his big brother Cooper and sister Payton just love him! I have been married for 7 years to my husbamd Heath. He is a Government and Economics teacher for Olivet High School. He also coaches baseball and teaches drivers ed. He is a great husband and father! As mentioned above, I started an online business with my mom and sister called www.just4twins.com when the twins were 5 months old. We design and embroider unique and trendy clothing for multiples and their families. The big kids are now 31/2 and the business grows more everyday.
