| About Me | My first job in and out of high school was as a beautician but found it required long hours with low pay, not to mention having to do the up-dos and beehive hairdos of the 1960s. I spent a lot of time in college and then worked in many areas of hospitals (Med/Surg, Emergency Room, ICU, Psychiatric, and Urgent Care) taught Nursing in Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois for several years and concluded my career as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
