About Me	I was the youngest of 5 siblings. My parents were Philip and Ida Morris. Dad worked in the nearby steel mill, Mom was a homemaker and excellent cook. We lived on Gallia Street just a short walk to the school. I would often come home to lunch. My oldest brother Isaac (Ike, born in 1912) played on the varsity basketball and football teams at Glenwood High. My 3 sisters also attended Glenwood and were Sarah (born 1914) and married with 2 sons and resided in Portsmouth, Martha (born in 1917) married with one son and resided in Williamson, KY, and Ruth (born in 1919), married with 4 sons and resided in Richmond, Va. I married in 1952 and have two sons and a step-daughter that I raised from the age of 9 and have lived in Richmond, Va. since 1952. I was mainly a homemaker but also helped in my husband's Optometry practice as a receptionist. I continue with homemaking and able to do light housework. I enjoy staying abreast on...(read more)
