About	Shelly Lea Compton, 22, of Springfield, Mo., was born June 4, 1985, and passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008. Shelly attended Glendale High School. She was a talented artist and received an art and design scholarship to Missouri State University in 2003. She also attended the Academy of Arts in San Francisco, Calif. Shelly was bright and beautiful. She had a smile that would light up a room and a spark in her eye that you knew spelled trouble. She was an artist in every sense of the word, from her multi-colored hair to her amazingly quirky attire. Shelly made you laugh, she made you smile, and she made you love her from the moment you met her. She was a gifted and talented artist and her creativity knew no bounds. She never met a stranger. She was a unique creation, one of God's finest, and she will be missed by many. She loved Frisbee golf, camping, music festivals, gaming, painting, henna tattoos, and glass bead making. She is survived by her parents, Douglas J. Compton and Mary Lea Compton; her brother, Casey Compton and a host of family and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. Memorial visitation will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home East on Friday, February 1, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. one time i picked this flower and i liked it so much, i had to go and get some more.
