About	Paulsen, Thomas K., 69 of Winter, Wisconsin died November 11th, 2020 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. Tom was born in San Matao, CA to Vinton and Gladys (Kiplin) Paulsen. Tom graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1969, and went on to study at Western Illinois University graduating with the class of ’74. Tom was an outdoorsman, and enjoyed an array of activities such as boating, fishing and hunting. He also reveled in spending time in his woodshop. He is survived by his three children: son, Michael Paulsen; daughter, Kathryn Grandgeorge (Jaci); and daughter, Erin Gillman (Eric); as well as a host of grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held by immediate family, and he will be laid to rest alongside his parents and brother, Michael, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn, IL.

In those formative Glen Crest/Glenbard years, Tom was one of my best friends. He was my Best Man in 1972. While we drifted apart over the decades, we kept in touch with birthday greetings. I knew he had health challenges but I had no idea how severe. He passed shortly after his 69th. His final email said, "my mind is 25 but my body is 90". I learned of his passing when he did not reply on his 70th. I miss him.
