Carol Stream native and current resident, Matthew Sremaniak, was recently selected to be the focus of Universal Technical Institute - Lisle's Graduate Spotlight. The monthly series profiles one Universal Technical Institute(UTI) graduate from the Illinois campus. UTI started the Graduate Spotlight series to recognize individuals who have overcome adversity, demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, and have experienced success in their career. Those profiled serve as role models for current and future students interested in a career in the transportation industry. Alumnus are nominated by UTI staff and instructors for the recognition and those selected are then interviewed for the feature.

Sremaniak graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Lisle as well as Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream.
