About Me	Attended & Graduated California Maritime Academy (in Vallejo, CA, --north of San Francisco) and sailed as Merchant Marine Officer for 10 years - rising from Midshipman to Third Mate to Second Mate to Chief Mate to Master Mariner (Captain) in five years sailing aboard various deep sea ships (cargo, passenger, special project) in worldwide trade routes -- Married Floy Ann Berg (nee Chamberlain) in Dec. '69; then came ashore thereafter.. Taught for two years at Cal Maritime Academy then Worked in upper management/executive ashore for several steamship lines; then was Vice President for a very large stevedore/marine terminal contractor for 10 years (operating on all three coasts plus internationally); then became Executive Director for the Marine Exchange of SoCal and Vessel Traffic Control Center at Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor in SoCal for 15 years (monitoring, guiding, facilitating, and reporting on ALL vessel movements at America's biggest and busiest Harbor Complex). .
