About Me	Attended & Graduated California Maritime Academy (in Vallejo, CA, --north of San Francisco) and sailed as Merchant Marine Officer for 10 years - rising from Third Mate to Master Mariner (Captain) in five years sailing aboard various deep sea ships (cargo, passenger, special project) in worldwide trade routes -- then came ashore when I got married (Dec. 1969). Taught for two years at Cal Maritime Academy then Worked in upper management/executive ashore for several steamship lines; then was Vice President for a very large stevedore/marine terminal contractor for 10 years (operating on all three coasts plus internationally); then became Executive Director for the Marine Exchange of SoCal and Vessel Traffic Control Center at Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor in SoCal for 15 years (monitoring, guiding, facilitating, and reporting on ALL vessel movements at America's biggest and busiest Harbor Complex). .
