| Favorite School Memory | Band with Mr. ParcelIs (sp?) was a great experience. Prior to a football game, with dusk falling, the band would line up in front of the high school, then peel off and march single file, with a single snare beat, across the sidewlk to the stadium, where it would reform. If you watched from the stands, all you say was a line of floating, white plumes. Once the group had reformed, the drum major would signal with his whistle, and the percussion section would crash into their cadance. | About Me | I've been some sort of educator for 33 years. I went into administration for 10 yrs, but was losing my mind (and hair), so went back to teaching--mostly freshman science.
