Gordon was one of my oldest friends. We were neighbors and spent lots of time just hanging out as kids. I still can't believe he's gone and think of him often. I wonder how he would have reacted to the current political situation. He had a sharp sense of humor and was quite smart. He used to totally crack me up. So glad we remained friends until the end.
