About Me	I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Carol Hudson, for nearly 63 years. In May of 1968 I resigned as manager of Household Finance in Danville, Va. and headed to Southern Missionary College in Collegedale Tn to study for the Ministry. We had two little preschool boys and I took a full class load all year round. Carol and I both worked part time at McKee Foods (Little Debbie Cookies). With God's help I finished college in 3.5 years and in January 1972 I became the Pastor of my first Church. In 2008 I retired from ministry here in Wytheville. Besides being a minister for 51 years I have been a Law Enforcement Chaplain for 31 years. Being active in the community is a passion of mine. Presently I am the Emeritus Chaplain for the Wythe County Sheriff's Office, Member of the Local Emergency Planning Commission (L.E.P.C.) and director of L.E.P.C.'s Critical Incident Stress Management Team.
