About	I received a call from Bob Gilmore, also in our class, several years ago, I don't know just how many. Barbara had been teaching English in Egypt, and later in Finland. She went to see her son, who married an Italian woman and lives in Italy. In Rome it was discovered that she had a recurrence of a previously treated cancer. It progressed very quickly, and she died, wit her sister, her children and maybe other relatives and friends by her side.
