| About Me | "BE A LAMP, A LIFEBOAT, OR A LADDER." --RUMI I passed the 50-year mile marker this year, and I'm STILL just as short and wide as ever, (HA! I'm in shape - Round is a shape!), After many years as a single mommy , I'm happily married to the sweetest big ole bear and my only child is about to turn 21. He moved to his own apartment a few months ago, but is close by and works at the same company I do, so I am blessed to see him often. I am so grateful for my little family. I love my job, but am weary of the grind. I am "from" Illinois, but have lived in Phoenix, AZ now longer than anywhere else I've ever lived (23 years). Music and literature are still life's blood to me, but connecting with another person is the best high in the world, whether it's in good conversation, music or marital harmony. I love that you can reach out to connect and re-connect with people through computers, but I don't like to spend too much time (which is easy to do) on either the computer, TV or even reading.
