Mary died after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Judy Judy Smith '67 said:
Mary Smith Burghardt was my cousin. Her father and mine were brothers. For many years they operated the Smith Garage in Geary, OK. We grew up together. She passed 01/28/2020 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Her husband Tommy Burghardt and her parents, Edward and Mattie Smith preceded her in death. She left behind two daughters and a son and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
