About	Ford Edwards Wagar III, age 64 of Manistee, passed away peacefully May 5, 2013 after a long valiant fight with his illness. He was born January 16, 1949 in Wyandotte, MI the son of Ford Edwards II and Mary Constance (McCabe) Wagar. He graduated from Gaylord High School in the Class 1967. Ford served in the United States Navy from February 21, 1968 to December 21, 1971. On June 4, 1992, he married Shann L. Friend in Jacksonville, Florida. He was employed as an airplane mechanic for 30 years at the Naval Aviation Depot in Jacksonville, FL. He was a bus driver for 12 years in the Onekama School system and also served as Supervisor in Brown Township. In his spare time he enjoyed race cars, model building and bird watching. He is survived by his wife, Shann; mother, Connie; his brothers and their spouses, Jeff (Mary), Tom (Anne), Dan (Diane) and sister-in-law, Kim, along with numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved cats and dogs. He was preceded in death by his father, Ford E. II, and brother, Adam. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
