I have been serving in the Coast Guard for 7 years now, just reenlisted for 6 more. I plan on making it a career, the job is very rewarding. Since I have been in I have been stationed in Charleston, SC Alexandria Bay, NY San Francisco, CA and currently stationed in Kodiak, AK.

I completed my Army service in 1976 and went to NYC for undergrad. Completed undergrad and taught high school in NJ for two and half years, and realized THAT was not the life for me. Took the Navy aviation exam for AOCS, completed that, caught with Astigmatism (Whammy from NAMI) , became a surface warfare officer and retired in the late 90s. Was a senior engineer for a company in DC building ships for the Navy. Hated it. Went to Catholic University in DC for (an)other degree, this time in Architecture. Practiced in San Diego until 2018, sold my practice and now am the head cook and bottle washer at PacHome. IT'S ALL GOOD!

Our Gate City High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
