| About Me | After graduation, I continued my education in electronic technical engineering finishing the Los Angeles Trade Technical College program. I was 19 when I was hired in 1959 by North American Aviation that became Rockwell International, then Boeing in 1996. Because of this employment, I was able to live in a Belmont Shore beach apartment overlooking the ocean for 2-years before being drafted into the Army on November 22, 1963, the day Kennedy was assassinated. Victoria Shultz and I met at Ft. Huachuca, AZ, and were married in the Catholic Chapel while we were serving in the U.S Army. There were times when we were separated: six months in between the Grand Forks move and three months between the Newark move because we had homes to sell each time. We were always in communications and our older neighbors were there for support. We were 300 miles apart and I was able to make some week-end and vacation visits. I thank God for taking c...(read more) |
