| About Me | Updated 5/1/2012 Hi! Time to update the About Me I see! I have 3 great kids! They are the root of everything I am and try to be. Julie is 24, Evan 20 and Avery, my baby, just turned 18. I am going through a bit of a sad streak as I am feeling them slipping further and further away from me. It just happens way too fast! I am so proud of them, they are all gifted and amazing individuals. I am incredibly blessed to be married to my best friend. It is a wonderful feeling to be with someone that truly loves you and even after 11 years we are still honeymooning. Kirt and I both love to cook, him Mexican but I love Italian food. It is indeed my passion! I dream of getting to spend not a vacation but a few months in Italy at some time in my lifetime. I LOVE books! I refuse to own a digital device to feed literature to me. I love to hold a book in my hand, the way a new books smells it intoxicates me! I am also a HUGE coffee addict which is why I love hanging out in the bookstore. There I can experience two of my favorite smells at the same time. It is truly amazing! I love all different types of music, anything from movie scores to the 70's, Jazz....you name it. I usually tend to listen to a certain type of music depending on the mood I am in that day. I am outgoing in my virtual life, but anyone that really knows me, knows I am extremely quiet, very laid back and not one for small talk. I love quiet time and my favorite night out is a night in with my husband, a great meal, movie on demand, and a bottle of wine. I take sincere pleasure in the little things. I don't keep many friends, I tend to only want people around me in my personal life that are meaningful other than that it's a waste of the very few and special moments we have on this earth. I am entrepreneur and have been since birth. It is a huge part of who I am. I believe in taking chances and doing what needs to be done to be happy.
