About	James Hilary Farley passed away at his home in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, on July 25th. He was born and raised in Garden City and graduated from Garden City High School in 1976. Jim earned a BS in civil engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA from Columbia University. After working on Long Island for Muirfield Construction, he moved to Stahl Real Estate, a New York firm which specializes in developing and investing in commercial and residential space. He became senior vice-president and, in 2009, was honored by the New York real estate industry as the Management Executive of the Year “for outstanding professionalism, civic achievement, and contributions to the real estate industry.” Following 9/11, Jim joined the Liberty Corner, N.J., Volunteer Department and has been an active member until recently. He was active in local organizations, especially coaching. Jim is survived by his wife, Eileen, and children, Hillary, Brendan, Julia, and Neil; his mother, Catherine Hunt Healy of Garden City; and his siblings Dan, Betsy, Kathleen, and Greg, as well as numerous other family members.
