Erin Heaney Murphy, age 55 of Garden City, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015. She was born to Michael J. Heaney Jr. & the late Sheila Cashman Heaney on May 21, 1960.
Erin attended the Garden City High School as a part of the class of 1978. She was a lifelong member of the Garden City community & a third generation resident.

Erin is survived by her two loving children, Michaela E. Murphy & Kellen J. Murphy; her three brothers Michael, Patrick, & Sean; as well as many adoring family & friends.
A memorial service will be held in her honor from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 27, 2015 at Fairchild Sons Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers her children request memorial donations be made to either the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society, of which Erin served as the Garden City Chapter President previously."
