Elaine Ann Longua, of Unionville, passed away peacefully Thursday, (October 5, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. Born In Mineola, L.I., New York, September 5, 1943, daughter of the late John E. and Ethel J. Longua. Prior to retiring in 2005, Elaine was the Assistant Manager of the New Horizons Village in Unionville. She was a communicant at the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea in Unionville. She is survived by her two brothers, Thomas J. Longua of Westminster, CO, Lawrence J. Longua of Rockville Centre, L.I., NY; her sister, Nancy T. Henkel of Dallas, TX; six nephews, John Longua, Paul Longua, Fr. Thomas Longua FSSP, Timothy Longua, Edward Henkel, Christian Henkel; Maria Henkel Minter, and four nieces, Joan Philbin, Jeanne Longua, Maureen Bueltmann and Maria Dunigan.
