About	Fatal Accident on Meadowbrook A car driven by Mark E. Franz, 23, of Garden City lies on its top yesterday after it hurtled into the crash cushions at the Jones Beach toll booths on the Meadowbrook State Parkway. Franz, who police said was travelling "at a high rate of speed," was rushed to Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow and pronounced dead shortly before 8 am. No other injuries were reported. Police said they did not know why Franz was speeding. (Source: Newsday)
