About Charles Arthur Bullock II, age 47, died Monday, February 18, 2002 at Grove Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 21, at the First United Methodist Church in Grove with Rev. Randy Hamill officiating. Burial will follow at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, at the Ellis Family Funeral Home.
Charles Arthur Bullock II was born on January 25, 1955 in Ft. Campbell, Ky., to Charles A. and Carolyn (Killough) Bullock, Sr. He attended Garfield High School in Woodbridge, Va. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Murray State University in Murray, Ky., and his Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Ill. Mr. Bullock worked as a Psychological Counselor at the Ozark Guidance Center in Fayetteville, Ark., and Memphis Recovery Centers in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grove, Bob's Sunday School Class, and the National Association of Social Workers. His hobbies included photography and volunteer service.
Survivors include: his parents, Charles A. and Carolyn Bullock Sr., of Grove; two sons, Scott Allen Bullock and John Wesley Bullock, both of Jonesboro, Ark.; one daughter, Misty Marie Bullock of Little Rock, Ark.; three brothers, Dr. Wesley Allen Bullock and wife, Dr. Jennifer Simkins-Bullock, of Toledo, Ohio, William Anthony Bullock of Oklahoma City, Okla., and David Gene Bullock and wife, Laura, of Norton, London; and one sister, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Bullock-Rest and husband, Dr. Stanley Rest, of Fayetteville.
