HISTORY

I joined the Marine Corps in june of 1956 after I graduated from high school. I was in the corps for almost two years, I got out and went back home. Worked on my brothers ranch for awhile then went to albuquerque New Mexico, joined back up in the corps where I stayed until July of 2080 and retired. Then I went back home and worked at odd jobs and for my brother Larry. I then went to work for the Boeing Company in Huntsville, Alabama. I then went to New Orleans with boeing and then to greenville Mississippi, then to Wichita Kansas with boeing and I live there from 1986 until I retired from boeing in February of 2002. That was the longest i had lived anywhere. I traveled a lot for boeing and of course in the corps. I am now in Pierre South Dakota and i live in the edgewood senior center. In the corps I was in Okinawa, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, and the philippines, not long in Korea or the Philippines. I enjoyed my time in the Marine Corps and I would probably do it all over again.
