Steve McCauley sat behind me in Mrs. Anderson's Latin class for two years when we were kids in high school. I remember him as friendly, kind, and full of good humor. I think about him often when I reflect upon the horrible tragedies visited on so many families because of our nation's many foreign policy blunders---that continue to this day.
