Obituary for Antonia L. Russell
Antonia L. “Toni” Russell, 58, of Fish House Road, Galway died Wednesday morning October 18, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.
She was born in Schenectady on May 12, 1959 a daughter of Anthony and Grace Quick Marra and was a 1978 graduate of Galway Central School. Toni was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Russell worked in the kitchen for the Galway Central School.
She enjoyed artistry, flower gardening, cooking, and her Chihuahuas. Her greatest delight was spending time with her family and friends.
She married James G. Russell on October 18, 1982. He died on December 20, 2006.
Survivors include a son, Isaac Russell of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter, Juanita (James) Almy of Woodburn, KY; a sister, Marie Savola (Art Carpenter) of Amsterdam; a nephew, Shane (Rebekah) Savola; three nieces, Jaylean Miranda, Jalease and Unique (Tank) Petroski; and a granddaughter, Kiana Russell.
Cremation was performed at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
