Galien Woods Historical Society

Members of our group "saved' many of the sports trophies and band trophies when the school closed. Rather than have them boxed up somewhere we have them displayed on shelves at our Historical Building. Any alumni wishing to see them can call Elmer Doyle, Vice President at 269-545-8871.

Galien Township Library

When alumni come back to the area to visit, be sure to stop by the Galien Township Public Library to see how we've grown. Our "little library" has kept up with the times and doubled our size in the last few years. We have DSL internet on nine in-house computer workstations. We offer wireless service for those with their own laptops. Of course, current best sellers are available, along with other great books. Also available are magazines, audio books, DVD's. Other services include a fax machine and a copy machine for staff to operate for you for a small fee. There is a wonderful children's area with their own computer and a conference room to use.

If you are able to vote in Galien Township/Village in the coming election Nov 6, please remember that the millage listed on the ballot is only a renewal of the present millage, not an increase! We would appreciate your support.
