About Me	Loved life in the city -- 5 years in Chicago and then 17 in downtown DC. Became so urban I went 15 years without owning a car. Very happily married for nearly 20 years to a (now retired) FBI guy. Moved to the Virginia countryside 90 miles from DC after retiring and remodeled an 18th century house on 20 overgrown acres that have only partially succumbed to my efforts to turn them into a garden. Never thought I would own a 4-wheel drive pick-up truck or a 34' in-ground pool. Love the truck, hate the pool. Still live part-time in Washington in a great old co-op building near the National Cathedral where we go to see friends, watch good cinem...(read more)
