My dad graduated from Galena HS in about 1937 and passed away last year. We found a ring in his jewelry box. We can't tell what it is for except it does have a G on it. It also had 10k marked on the inside but there are no initials. Can anyone tell us what the rings would look like for that year? Thank you.

Found a 1936 Galena High School class ring (male) with initials inside. I found it many years ago between 1978 and 1980. I was renting a house from a senior gentleman and found the ring in an empty dresser drawer. I know the man is deceased. He died while we were renting the property. I would like to return the ring to a family member. We were told his wife was in a nursing home. She died and he married a much younger woman. They resided in Joplin. There was a carbon dioxide leak and he died. His wife and her children escaped. I can't recall the rental address it was in the outskirts of Galena (at that time) There was another piece of jewelry found with it. I have intended to try to find family to send it to for decades bu never acted on it. I am sorry. If there is another site in the Galena area that the family might be more likely to see my note please advise me. If you e-mail please put CLASS RING in caps as heading for the e-mail as I get many e-mails and could overlook it. It was a very sad story. I would like a family member to have the ring. Please contact me and send me any info you may have if you think you know who the ring belonged to. Include info such as his name, the address of his rental property. I honestly don't recall his name but as I said the initials are inside the ring. I may recall his name if told. Anyway I am sure a connection can be made. I will happily mail it to the rightful owner. Be Free......Judy

Found a class ring that may be from Cornerstone High School. I need some info to help return it to the rightful owner. It is from 2000 and has Bears on one side and Zero on the other. It has the initials inside I will use to verify the owner. I can be contacted at adamstw@cox.net
