I went to elementary,junior high, and high school with Dean.
Dean was one of the first persons to reach out to me when I migrated as a 10 year old from Cuba to Gainesville.
Even though I didn’t speak English he made me feel welcomed and was very kind especially when some of the other kids were mean
Saddened to hear about his passing.
May he rest in peace.
