Janice L. (Moon) Hudson

Class of 1969

Janice went to the University of Tennessee and majored in Microbiology. She married fellow classmate, Michael Hudsaon and they moved to Columbus, GA in the 1970's. After working in the medical field, Janice began teaching at a college in Columbus. She then went to the high school level and became a very ppular teacher in the magnet program. She earned the Georgia teacher of the year award, and was in the running for National Teacher of the Year. She got to visit Pres. GW Bush and the first lady as a part of thPresidentail Award in 2000 (?). She contnues to be involved with the magnet program and loves working with her "kids".

Mike is a principal at a Columbus Middle School.
