Gerald started Infantry basic training on August 29th 2001. He the went to Airborne school, and the Ranger Indoctrination Program. Gerald was eventually stationed in Hawaii, and was injured while surving. He currently is a Senior at the University of Arizona.

trained at fort dix, new jersey, graduated third in my class.Spent 2 years in karlsruhe, germany as 64c (truck driver) with the 18th engineering brigade driving 5 ton dump truck and was commanding officers driver ( he liked my "Dukes of Hazzard" style of driving.) I was there from 1984 to 1986. Went to Fort Hood, Texas served in the 1st Cavalry driving a 10 ton hemett (8 wheel drive cargo vehicle) I was squad leader and also cargo NCO drove trucks full of M1 abram ammo, had a life expectancy of 20 seconds upon being sited by enemy, so i drove really fast. i was honorbly discharged in 1990 and back home alive and well in Fruitport.
