About Me	I graduated from the University of Florida in 1996 and taught chemistry and environmental science at George Jenkins High School in Lakeland for 3 years. In 2000, I married my husband Dave and transferred to Lake Gibson High School for one year, where I taught Biology and Environmental Science. After the birth of our daughter, we moved back to Lake Wales and I taught for a year at Frostproof High School. I left teaching to be a stay at home mom and in 2003 we had our son. In 2005, I was diagnosed with cancer. Chemo and radiation meant no more kids but God has richly blessed us in so many ways. From July of 2007 to July of 2008, I taught chemistry with Florida Virtual School. I have again decided to leave teaching to focus more on my family.
