About	GARY S. WARD, died in Virginia Beach, VA on Mar. 27, 2007. Born Dec. 5, 1938 in Lake View, NY; son of the late Robert and Carolyn Spittler Ward; grandson of the late George and Edith Metz Spittler; survived by a brother Charles Ward of Bemus Point, NY; sisters Lindah Ward Schucker of Westminster, MD; and Susan Ward Merk of Reston, VA; and daughters Bonny Ward Takaki of Diamond Bar, CA and Becky Ward of Huntington Beach, CA. Mr. Ward attended Lake View School, Woodlawn HS and Frontier Central HS, graduating from the latter in 1956. He also attended The Art Institute of Chicago, lived for many years in California and had a career in photography. A memorial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Eden, NY sometime in the summer of 2007 to inter Mr. Ward's ashes at the foot of the grave of his mother, Carolyn Spittler Ward.
