About Me	Hey Guys, this site has been cool and I've really enjoyed hookin up with old friends, but to be honest, tired of the ones that are just adding you as a friend to get the numbers, if you can't even send a message as well then why bother ???? golly where do i start.... after graduating i went to Baker University ( south of Lawrence KS ) only lasted a year and decided on spring break of that year to enroll in Cosmetology school. In June of 84 started cosmo school at Pitt State but by November got ancy and wanted to move to Lawrence to be with friends from church camp. Did a small stint in Lawrence but ended up moving back home and finishing cosmo school, what was suppose to take 9 months took 2 yrs. Went to work for Bob and Patrick at Little's while in school, worked at the store and house/dog sat for them for years and for anyone that ever wondered what the inside of that house looked like... it was amazing something out of a magazine, was very fortunate to have them as friends. Moved to Kansas City, in July of 86 and started my career in cutting hair ( as of this coming April 09, it will be 23 yrs ) was in KC for 6 yrs, had alot of fun and made several friends went out alot alot, did i say alot <G> Moved back to Pburg in 92 and went to work at what used to be BJ's salon, was there about a year then decided to go booth rental, so moved to The Hairitage, out on east 4th, i think it's still there. Was there for 4 yrs before opening up my own place in Frontenac, it was in the building in front of Barto's trailor park. After a little over a year the girl i had gone into business with screwed me over, so i decided to get the heck out of dodge, so Oct of 98 moved to Palm Springs, CA LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT was there for almost 3 yrs and then moved back to KC in Sept of 01. Met my one and only boyfriend of 2 yrs there Alvin went to work for Great Clips, ended up managing and general managing, after the break up and other things and missing the warm climate of CA i decided to move again, wanted to go back to CA but couldn't get licensed easily and really couldn't afford it so i check into Phoenix. Moved to PHX in May of 05, worked for Great Clips here as well, they are all franchised, but after being with the same company for almost 4 yrs and passed over for management several times, decided it was again time for a change. As of Nov 08 i have been out on my own in a suite rental place. Haven't been home but a couple times, my mom comes out here I get to Palm Springs quite often. UPDAT...(read more)
