Navy, 20+ Years
Chief Aviation Storekeeper - AKC(AW), Served aboard USS Midway(CV-41), USS Saratoga(CV-60), USS America(CV-66), USS Nimitz(CVN-68), USS T. Roosevelt(CVN-71), VA-93, VP-30, VS-24, VFA-106. Also did various dets for COMFAIRWESTPAC, COMFAIRMED, CAG-5 and CAG-8. Homeported mostly in Florida (NAS Cecil, NAS Jax and NB Mayport) but also lived in Yokosuka, JA, Phillippines and Norfolk, VA.

Enlisted in 1950. Served on several bases in several states. Commissioned and completed flight school in late 50s. Flew jet fighters, multi engine prop A/C. Was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross and three Air Medals while fllying rescue helicopters in SEA. Retired 1970 as Major.
