Thomas Andrew “Tom” Rogers, 65, of Lincoln died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Madonna Chapel in Lincoln with Pastoral Care Director Patrick Miron officiating. Private burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

He was born Sept. 15, 1950, in Kearney to George L. and Jacqueline (Hochette) Rogers.
He graduated from Fremont High School and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He operated Green Fingers Nursery.
He was a guitarist/vocalist and was inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame in 2001. He was an early member of the Six Wild Brakemen. The Brakemen were described as “one of the most visual, exciting and memorable of Nebraska’s great 1960s rock bands.” He also performed with the Seven Legends.
He is survived by his sister, Wendy R. Tucker, of Key West, Fla.; and many friends.
