About Me	Hmm, Synopsize your life in 30 words or less? I feel like Enugo Montoya in 'Princess Bride" -- let me summarize. After Graduation I went to DeAnza trying to get admitted to USNA. At some point I broke up with my GF and, using that great 18 year old logic, I decided that it would be a good idea if I were to enlist, go to Vietnam, get killed ... and wouldn't she feel bad? A week from graduating USMC Boot Camp I was given a choice, Vietnam or the Naval Academy? I went Navy. I was a late bloomer physically. In HS (doubtful if anyone actually remembers me) I was 5'11", 135-140 because of a bout with Hepatitis. By the beginning of my freshman year at Navy I was 6'1", 195. Anyway, I graduated from Navy, went USMC, served 5 years (including a short stint in combat), got married at 25 (still married after 33 years - a woman of infinite patience). Went to Dallas and worked at Texas Instruments on the HARM missile, moved to DC area in 1989 and am currently the IT Security Officer for the National Science Foundation. 3 kids, oldest is 30 and no grandkids yet - dammit!
