In Memory of

I knew John for 60 years. I met him when we were freshmen at Fremont but didn't start hanging out until our junior year.
We traveled in different circles for most our lives but always kept in touch. We saw each other when possible and I was close to his family.
We had laughs when we talked on the phone which was usually once a month to catch up. We always ended our conversations with, love you and we did really feel that way, like brothers.
I was sorry that his health was what it was for so many years. I can't say that I think he's in a better place, and I may be a little selfish, but I do wish he was still here to have our conversations.
