Dear Classmates,
We have a new, firm date for our 50th Reunion. The major event will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Freeport Yacht Club, from 7:00 to 11:00 PM.
In addition, we expect to meet informally at one of Freeport's many restaurants and bars on Friday night, October 13. We are also examining a tour of the high school, a visit to Nunley's Carousel (now located near Eisenhower Park, formerly Salisbury Park) and a Sunday brunch, all of which have been done by previous FHS class reunions.
We have posted the new reunion date and venue on Classmates.com; however, you do not need to belong to Classmates.com or any other reunion website to attend the reunion or to be kept fully informed.

50th Anniversary of 1963 Undefeted Rutgers Cup winning FHS Football team!

The reunion will start at 7 pm Friday night with a " Cocktail Hour" followed by a 3 course Dinner at Frank's Steakhouse in Rockville Center. On Saturday there will be a tail gate party starting at 1PM before the Red Devils 4 PM game against Oceanside on October 5th, 2013. The team members in attendance will be introduced on the field at half time. Each player will receive a " Proclamation" from the Mayor celebrating the reunion. After the game everyone will meet at a local establishment and unwind after a day of celebrating. Everyone is invited especially all those that contributed to the success of the season from cheerleaders, twirlers, band members, fans, and families!!

We want to get this information out to you now to SAVE THE WEEKEND this way you have 10 months to plan. Let’s top our 156 guests from our last reunion to make this the best reunion ever. The only way we can do this is with your help. Reunion planning is a long arduous process. There are so many of you that have friends who are not on facebook, that only YOU can reach out to which will help us move the process along more effectively. What we ask is that any graduates you know to PLEASE contact them and forward us whatever current information you can obtain. Ideally if you can provide people’s current snail mail and email addresses plus a contact phone number it would absolutely make the reunion planning easier. Your participation early on will be greatly appreciated. People expect us to find them as it has been a frequent discussion I’ve had with so many people that end up contacting me after each and every reunion.
