Murphy and I sang in a folk group, The Stowaways, with Vic Spitzner and John Lindenwall (John is also deceased). We sang a capella, but later, Jimi Barr accompanied us on his guitar. When we were Freshmen, on split sessions, we would take the early buses in, go downtown to shoot pool, and eat a Sorrento's Sub on South St., for lunch (50 cents for a whole sub).
