Joe and I were roommates at Trenton State. He went on to earn a Doctorate in Microbiology and went to work for the CDC. Later, he left to form his own company, making a chemical compound still used today that clears up cloudy water in aquariums and swimming pools. The last time I saw Joe, he and his wife were on their way from her parent's home in Florida to Atlanta to begin working at the CDC, and they stopped off at my house in Orlando, FL.
