About Event

This event will be held on the second Saturday of Musikfest every year. There will be a nominal fee of just $5/family to cover our expenses and payable the day of the event with additional donations appreciated as all proceeds will go to the FHS Class of ’78 future reunion fund. We will provide the pavilion, music, tents if needed & charcoal or propane to cook with. The picnic will be a BYO food/drink event for everyone. There ...are public bathrooms and water on site. And we would like to let everyone know that there is a great Disc Golf course in the Park that we plan on utilizing. We will also supply discs if you need them. We would like to invite any/all Class of 1978 Grad’s from Freedom HS, Bethlehem Catholic HS, Liberty HS, Notre Dame HS and past Middle School friends. The idea is to continue to grow our contact database (especially locally) and provide an annual mini-event that will allow us to get together more frequently and on an established date you can plan on year after year. On years in which we hit 5 year increments there will be a larger event with more involvement. The next big event will occur in 2013 for our 35th Reunion. At this time Bob Foust and Vivian Schoeller have taken the reigns for this next big adventure. If you haven’t friend requested one of us on Facebook, please do…it’s a great way to stay in the loop (especially if you’re local). We are looking for an estimated head count so please RSVP and let us know what your thoughts are about this type of yearly picnic…keep the banter going in the comment fields! Again, our goal is to grow the class directory and give these “missing” classmates the benefit of being in the loop on any and all future FHS class of ‘78 events.
