About Me	After graduation I attended the University at Buffalo and was hoping to persue my career in Architecture. After a few weeks of studying architecture I realized I was interested more in the Planning aspects of the city with the interest of Architecture. I wanted to help plan a city that peopld would live work and play and enjoy it. I graduated in 2005 with my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Desgin. I took a year off to help me figure what I wanted to do and worked at AAA. After a year off I realized that the bachelors degree was not giving me the opportunities that a Master's degree would give me. Therefore, I went back to the University at Buffalo to persue my Masters in Urban Planning (M.U.P). I graduated with my M.U.P in 2008. In November 2008 I was offered a position as a Planning Assistant with The Crawford County Planning Commission in Meadville, PA. What do I do? I create maps of properties, towns, cities, environmental issues. I help create comprehensive plans- these plans are available to most towns, cities and it describes what the land use is now and how the land could change or stay the same to be a successful city. Do they need more businesses, green space, people or infrastructure. I work with a program called Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and it is a lot like google maps.
